You've had Pryde for longer than I've known you!

Pryde was the oldest of my budgies, and her sturdiness always surprised me, because of her overweight. She was so cute, the roundest budgie you ever saw, yet always cheerful and healthy. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with her, she just had unusual budgie metabolism! And I've had her on high-nutrition diet budgie food for years. Given what the vet said about the dangers of overweight in budgies, I feel lucky to have had her as long as I did.

You're very welcome, and yes, we'll take good care of Ceilidh. Any teflon pans are going out of this house with the next trash!

My goodness yes. I'm never using the stuff again!

I am so sorry. I didn't know teflon was so dangerous.

I didn't know either. I'll get rid of my teflon pot now, but it's too late to undo the harm.

So sorry to hear this! Your poor little budgies!

I had no idea about teflon fumes being deadly for birds, it does make you wonder how bad it might also be for us.

Well, yes, that's not a comfortable thought, is it? And we're cooking and eating with it.

I have a friend who worked sorting legal paperwork into an electronic system, and one of the cases he was working on was a Teflon pan lawsuit. He said that after the data in there (which he can't talk about) he's never going to use a teflon pan. :-(

Sorry to hear about your loss.

My teflon pan is in the trash. I wish I'd got rid of it weeks ago!

That's it. No more teflon in my life. (And no lawsuits either, hopefully.)
