I'd wondered how long it would take them to come back to the Ten Rings. Now we know.

Should be conceptually interesting! We'll see what they do with it.

He looks a lot like Michkey Rourke in Iron Man 2 and that is not a good thing. I'm a bit iffy on this too. My favorite villien is still Shane. Jeff Bridges was awesome in the roll and bad guy was believable.

Well.. Iron Man 1 was such a good movie and 2 was not. But the other Avengers-linked movies were good and I don't want to pre-judge this one. I certainly want to see it. So I will annoy the worrisome details... you can't always tell from pre-publicity. It will, after all, have Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

Good point. Should he not be much younger, and Chinese? I wonder why they ever cast Ben Kingsley. Besides the fact that he's fabulous in anything he does. But... why him?

I worry that they figured that him being Indian (as in his mother or a grandparent, not sure, being from India) is Asian enough. Which to me is just not right.

Maybe. Much as I love casting contrary to race, he doesn't seem quite right to me to be cast as The Mandarin. But of course I don't know what story or action they have in mind. He may be wonderful. I hope he is.
