Vivien and a busy day...

  • Went to the gym; got measured. It went well. Some days are easier than others.
  • Met gamergrrl and Tasia for lunch at Sushi 88. Had their lunch sashimi dish; as nice as one might expect. And wakame salad as appetizer.
  • Went to Ottawa U to return library books, and made notes on Court, household and itinerary of King Henry II (1878).

The reason why you have extra books is for the unforeseen occasions when you might be stuck on a tarmac in a thunderstorm... So I wlll hope that you only need one of those books if at all.

Down here I was reading "O Jerusalem" by Laurie King as an e-book (from the library). Highly recommended.

I can recall once being stuck in the San Francisco airport for six hours with nothing to read. It was terrible! Yes, they sell books there - every one of them schlock. Or at least, nothing I wanted to spend money to read.

It's a good reason to have one's eReader well-stocked.

I was in Turkey from Sept. 9 to Sept. 24. Home now, tired, jet-lagged, and happy.
