Loved the way the boys got under Sam and Dean's guard by reminding them of themselves. The brothers seem to have recovered the relationship I liked so much - the one we saw back in early seasons. Before Sam became a demon-blood junkie.
I assume something is going to blow that up in the finale - but could be wrong. I just figure something's got to give, because they're so in tune lately, it's almost shmaltzy. So, you know, it can't last...

I wish I could say I think you're wrong, because I like this state of affairs, but I do think it's going to break. Maybe it'll turn out that Sam is just pretending (again). Or maybe something will happen to cause a rift. Sam wants to oppose Caatiel for having allied with Crowley, and Dean doesn't? But that doesn't fit what we currently see... Ah, trust them to find someting.
Either that, or one of them will be recalled to Hell. I know we've seen that... condemned to Heaven, maybe?
Why is it that the women in Supernatural, even when they are mightily evil, like Lilith and Ruby, so often don't seem all that evil? Meg seemed evil. I can't think of many (any?) others that really did.
IMO it's because both actresses they cast as Meg could actually act, while with other evil women they usually cast for looks rather than acting ability.
Yes. Compared to the men in Supernatural, the women are most uninteresting. Missouri is the only exception I can think of, and we only saw her briefly. Others... I've quite liked some of them, Lenore, Anna, Jo and her mother, Lisa, a few others, but... On the whole, they just aren't very impressive.
Just as well, since they don't generally last long.
