Not who are able to take on a project of that magnitude, no. And then there's the whole production/getting it published thing. I'm having a hard enough time trying to get my writing published, let alone trying to take something like that on.

Why not? You're certainly looking at fic in a new way. Even if it's a bit meta, it might generate some insightful discussion.
