My first physio appointment since going to France. The therapist said that if I work very hard I may still get 'functionality' in my arm. She worked it hard, and by the end of the session I could touch my left ear with my left hand for the first time since June. It hurt, mind you, but it was encouraging

Hooray for mobility and functionality! The human body can be surprisingly resilient and adaptable. Good luck with the progress -- at least you have lots and lots of motivation.

Yes. I'm trying to be really, really diligent on the exercises today, but it means I can't do much of anything else. Grump. At least I have good TV to watch.

From your LJ entries it sounds as if you're progressing and healing from both back and tooth troubles - I hope that's the case.
