A special treat today: my copy of the DVD An Evening With John Barrowman arrived in the mail today. It's the recording of John Barrowman's concert, given last May at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - the same show I saw on the Isle of Man in August. There are differences, but oh, what a treat to see the show again

It certainly was. It was so long since I'd ordered it, I'd almost forgotten it was coming.

For a second there I thought you were sayng that this was the very show you had attended, and I was waiting to hear you add that you saw yourself when the camera panned over the audience... hee.

No, it was a couple of months earlier, and there were differences in what I saw - but the same songs, the same general staging. I already knew that his parents had appeared in the show in Glasgow, and that he sang a duet with Daniel Boys.
