The first role I saw him in was a bad guy in a not particularly good episode of the X-Files.

S1 about 9 or 10 eps in I think.
Fire. He played a guy called Cecil L'ively who was an arsonist.
(it's bad that I remember that 15 years later)

FYI, he also had a small part in NCIS last season. The ep Broken Bird. His father played a bad guy and he played him as a younger man on a video clip.

Okay, I did see "Fire". I'm sure I did. It sort of matched the first episode I ever saw, which was "Ice". But I really don't remember it now! (Hanging my head in fannish shame.)

In NCIS too - ! He's done a lot.

*beams* Thanks for sharing the Christian Kane bit! Can I quote this in my Leverage groups?

*lol* at the badger thing! In the first episode Mark pops up in Leverage (Two Horse Job) I kept staring at screen going "I know this guy, I know this guy" and almost at the end I squealed "Badger!!" which got me funny looks from my mum who just was around... *g*

He sounds like a great guy. Love the storys about his kid!

Yes, certainly!

I understand that completely - I think I did that with Battlestar Galactica.

He was a great speaker, very relaxed and comfortable with us.
