Back to work again. Seems like only yesterday I had a whole year to look forward to my hols and now they've been and gone, sigh. Work is a pain, the manager has moved on to bigger and better things and we are awaiting assignment of a new one. I hope he's better than the last one and can at least manage the store properly. I am waiting to buy the extended version which is due out in the US in November. I bought the film version of Fellowship and kicked myself when I saw the ad for the extended version inside the package. I was Two Towers 4 times in the theater so I think I can wait... I hope. I am definately excited about the last installment, but that is still 4 months away.... sigh.

I will also be getting the extended extended 4 disc dvd of TTT in november, don't tell anyone but the 2 disc version will be going back just before the 4 disc comes out. he he, this way I can shut the sprog up and not have two lots of the film indoors. The first thing she did on tuesday morning was to put it on and 5 hours later when i came home from work she was still watching the extras discs!!. I will cheerfully strangle her if she quotes me any more dialoge from the first film (in elvish if you please). She says she likes the second movie better, more Frodo (yuk). In november there will be the matrix movie as well to get and then the final parts of matrix and lord of the rings at the cinema. Have you seen Pirates of the Carribean yet? It was hilarious, Johnny Depp acted like he was stoned or drunk (possible both the way he swayed around) and so gay with it to, Orlando Bloom couldn't do anything but be his straight man. So funny. Guess I'm not going to bed tonight, it's 3.30 am an I have to be up at 6 am, hardly worth it. sigh.

I haven't seen Pirates yet. I have been to lazy or can't find anyone to go with... I just need to go on my own. I saw 28 Days Later on my own. I was jumping around in my seat and talking to the characters on the screen: "Watch out!!" "Don't do that!"

Good thing it was a matinee and hardly anyone else was in there.

Pirates is well worth the effort to see. Johnny Depp acts like a 60's rock star, stoned out of his mind plus he weaves around as though he's drunk and then is sooo camp on top, Orlando Bloom is left playing the straight man which I think he does to great effect. Very very funny movie.
