I read this on my phone while sitting in my car, stuck in snow and traffic this morning. I loved it then and I love it now.

I will come back and comment properly tomorrow. My eyes are hanging out of their sockets atm. Writing a problematic fic and trying to fix the internets have taken their toll on me.

jetlag would be an attractive step up from where Cheryl is at the moment - Poor Cheryl. This is an awfully heartbreaking description of her.

She returns with a highball containing more vodka than is wise and Cheryl looks at her with complete adoration. - I love this for some reason.

“I really hope we do make forever but baby you want that fairytale and I’m not it.” - Waaaah!!! That's so saaaaaaad :(

“Oh I keep forget that you are internet savvy now.” - Hee! (Although Nadine's latest tweets kind of trouble me.)

A tear escapes and runs down Cheryl’s cheek, “I hate how fucking perfect you are.” - That might be my favourite line.

I love Cheryl being all naughty and trying to coerce Nadine into shower!sex. And also her making Nadine promise that there will be shower!sex at some point.

And I love, love, love Cheryl asking Nadine to come home. *sigh*

This was sad and happy and lovely.

(And now, if you like, you can write me more Jessalyn/Jayma based on the new piccies from last night...

What's she been saying? - There was a decidedly snippy one about her not being the one to hold up Girls Aloud getting back together. The timing of it was strange, because it followed a quote which had been attributed to Kimberley (but seemed wildly out of character and was obviously misquoted or misrepresented) saying that for GA to get back together, Nadine had to come home from LA and that they were five people's diaries to work round, not just one.

details of what was going on that night and then you shall get your fic - *sigh* You and your insistence on canon and details. Look at this gif. What more do you need?

God, you really are brilliant at combing angst with tender and funny moments.

Loved Cheryl trying to entice Nadine into shower sex even when she's at her lowest. Cheryl's libido knows no bounds! Also loved that Nadine resisted (just).

It strange to think that she has outlasted Ashley. She can only hope that she manages to outlast any future husbands because she knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the woman beside her is the love of her life.

So I just stumbled across this and... wow.

“And the world was spinning long before I starting drinking.”

I don't know why but this line really stood out. I loved it :)

Thank you, I am glad you liked it. I happen to really like that line so I'm glad that it stood out.

Can I ask how you managed to stumble across it???

Also feel free to stumble over my numerous other Cheryl/Nadine fics as I am rather proud of some of them and like the idea that they might get read (which is a change from my usual attitude of wanting to vomit at the thought that people actually read my stuff)
