You know... Im having a difficult time right now with this whole election thing... Its one thing if you dont like a candidate but frankly that doesnt mean you need to fabricate lies about them or their running mate. Until there is outright proof nothing should be said ( Read more... )

IAWTC. I am thinking about making a post on Palin soon compiling all of the information that I have (that seems legit). There is so much misinformation going out about her. I don't like her politics one bit but damnit, I hate it when people are petty about family stuff. Keep her family out of it! And I hate it when people hysterically perpetuate misinformation. So yeah, I think I will make a post about everything that I have been able to find out about her--good and bad.

That is what I mean.. if the argument is that the voter's views are pro choice and she is pro life, that is one thing. But when it gets to if she can do the job because her 17yo is pregnant? that's wrong.

I don't like the low blows... keep the personal attacks out.. that is my vote.

I told Jeff I was going to see if Alf was available for the ballet. This stuff is getting crazy.

And I can't believe I am saying this as I am watching Rudy right now... The repubs are just as bad as the dems on the low blows, but the scary thing is most of them that are made about the voting records and such are true from the elephant side.... still don't like the way it's going though.

I HATE double standards... here's a good one.. one of the interviews on CNN questioned if Palin could step in as president since she is a mother of 5 children. Let's see... Obama has 2 children.. I forget how many Biden has and McCain has 7. So perhaps none of them can be president. Or are they implying that it's because she is a woman?

Sorry... venting there. As a mom of many here it sorta ruffles the feathers.

I find when it comes down to it, most everybody will believe only what they want to hear.

We're preparing for a possible surprise election sometime this fall ourselves. Nobody here really wants the two major parties in goverment anyway, and the third one that should matter isn't getting enough attention to stand a chance.
