Okay... this is confusing....

So... I heard on my conservative talk radio yesterday (Phil Valentine and also Michael Delgorno) talking about Barak Obama saying that Jesus condoned homosexuality in The Sermon on the Mount. This confuses flat out. There is NOTHING about homosexuality in The Sermon on the Mount. They link to the news article that I was able to find is here.

He claims that he is a Christian. He is a member of the United Church of Christ. I am not particularly familiar with that denomination.

Which even if he was an athiest I wouldn't care. He is wrong. I just shake my head... as I said with Raya, I hate having to vote for the lesser of two evils (or three). After seeing the article (because my computer is of fail and too slow to download video) it shows that he will say anything to get the vote. *ugh*

Confusing indeed. I hadn't heard anything about that statement or hullabaloo. Using the Sermon on the Mount to support what? *shakes head* Me thinks you are a bit confused, Mr. Obama. You might want to schedule a visit with your pastor and discuss it.

Interesting version of the Sermon. *smile* Some of the language used in there... What version was that, out of curiosity? Not King James, I'm pretty sure of that.

Did you see his voting record mentioned in the CNS news article? For someone who's pro-choice, he seems very pro-life. Well, except that he wouldn't label a fetus as a person, but maybe he was just trying to avoid a slew of murder charges being levied against the mothers and doctors.

I don't particularly care for any of the candidates either as I think I've mentioned. I am reluctantly thoughtful of McCain, and Obama is fascinating. But, I haven't done enough research on their stands to choose who I would support (least evil) of the three of them.

I used the Good New Bible... I couldn't get the King James to come up. (I have Bible software) I was being lazy and not wanting to hunt down another website so I used it. It's easier to read to me. But all the translations (not paraphrases) pretty much say the same thing.

Anyhow.. I stopped to listen to the report on the radio because it was at the college that Jeff went to briefly.

I am wondering who the independent candidate will be... I think this year they might actually have a chance... LOL

Hillary was already president for 8 yrs.... and I really don't like the way she is playing the game to win... she's being deceitful in my eyes. McCain... I haven't even looked into too much. I don't like his personality. *shakes head* I hate voting for the lesser of evils... but at least when you vote you can complain. LOL
