That was so...guh. You took something for Charlie & Claire that was happy, tiwsted it one way & then all this angst just spilled out of it, it was incredible. I don't know why but the thought never occured to me that there would ever be a complication in Claire's birth, I just always believed that she would be fine, imagine how angsty Lost would be if this actually happened. I think that you really did Charlie justice though & the way that everyone just slowly stopped seeing him was very realistic

This is far and away the saddest, angstiest fic I have ever written - hands down. It made me cry! The fact that it was such a happy moment on the show and here it was so dark and painful just makes it that much worse - like you said.

Thank you for re-reading this Meagan. I'm glad that you thought I did it justice.
