I adore Jane and Darcy, and everything you've said is now totally headcanon for me. They're the BEST. :'D All your stuff about Fury's relationships with Howard and Tony sits brilliantly, especially with Tony. I hadn't really thought too much about how Fury acts around Tony, but all of this makes perfect sense now. Also, I always had it in my head that Fury might be older than Howard, and he got his serum soon after Steve was turned into Captain America, because of course people would try to recreate Erskin's success immediately after his death while the project was still fresh. Is it canon that Howard was born in 1910? Because I always thought he was meant to only be in his twenties in Captain America. ^^'

That Loki/Clint fic is brilliant. O_O And I know what you mean about only being able to really ship it in AU's and stuff. I can see Bruce really liking Thor because he's so strong and confident and controlled with it, and being kinda shy about it because Thor's a god, and he doesn't know what to say to start off the kind of

Fury could well be older than Howard. I got the 1910 thing from Dominic Cooper, who was 32 when they filmed Captain America - one of the signature things about Marvel (I've discovered) is that they generally don't give their characters birthdates, so they can be reinvented more easily. But yeah, he could easily be in his 20s. I like your theory!

I've read a few Peggy/Bucky/Steve fics, and they are definitely one of my favourite OT3s. :D

Maria is totally Peggy 2.0.

I don't think I've read that Tony/Loki fic... I'm gonna go hunt for it now. ;)

Oh my goodness, I adore your Loki/Darcy and your Darcy/Jane headcanons. Going to adopt them right now, pretty much. Also, "Simple, Never Easy" is just amazing!

So I totally forgot you did this and then remembered and got really excited because I remember you saying your Steve/Maria thing was getting epic and I got REALLY EXCITED because they are my current headcanon OTP pairing of joy omg. And actually a lot of your headcanon matches mine, so yay brain twins haha. I just love the idea of Maria being so freaking competent and put together on the job and then being secretly absolutely delighted by Steve. And he is also totally delighted by her, because, as you said, she is SO his type. Plus they're both so tall! And beautiful! They'd look so good together! (Superficial reasons are superficial.) I was all about the Steve/Natasha for a bit, but then I saw something in passing about Steve/Maria and then read a fic and I fell in love so much. I agree, there is sadly little in the way of fic which I really think should be remedied

DARCY IS THE BEST. I'm so glad other people realise this. I mean, she's really popular in fandom, but it's nice to see my friends think so too, you know? :D

I totally see the parallels with Tony/Loki, Harry/Draco. Um, but that's also a pairing that I only see having epic hate!sex, so I guess that makes sense. Any fanfic recs for me? I've got "Desiderata" queued, which Myrmidryad rec'd, and I found "The Loki Problem" last night, which did convince me that there are situations where I could accept Tony/Loki romance. I'm open to things!

The Avengers gives me all the feelings. I cannot honestly think of another fandom where I have this many feelings and ships and this much headcanon. It's insane.
