First of all, I'm very jealous of the fact that you're having a Marvel rewatch!!! I'd love to do that! Though current essay deadlines don't really allow it, and I don't actually have The Incredible Hulk on DVD, and really I had a rewatch over Christmas so it wasn't that long ago. But anyway. JEALOUS!!!
I'm really looking forward to seeing Mark Ruffalo as both Bruce and the Hulk! The motion capture stuff always intrigues me and has the potential to be brilliant, plus Ruffalo!Bruce seems as if he's going to be more calm and incontrol and content with his alter ego - which like you, I want to see more of. Especially as Hulk can be a hero and Bruce should accept this fact. :)
Hehe, see, I thought it was a good idea - but I really should have either started early in the day, or not kept pausing it to write stuff. I still have Captain America to watch, and I'm already sleepy. However, I want to do all five in one day, so go figure.
I'm really looking forward to him too! The little clips I've seen of him look a lot more like the Hulk I wanted - the genuine hero who appreciates that, while he didn't ask for his situation, knows that he can do a lot of good with it.
I think the things that I love about this movie outweigh the things that I don't like. See, I adored all the running. Ed Norton is a fast runner. ^^ The opening stuff in Brazil is fantastic. I love the areas he was running around in, and his genuine panic. Also, I love all his scenes with Betty, especially in the motel when she was taking care of him, and then they tried to have sex and realised they couldn't. It was so sweet. :')
But yeah, the US military in this was terrifying, and the general was just mind-bogglingly stupid about EVERY SINGLE DECISION EVER. *headdesk*
Also, I only got the 'you wear such nice suits thing' as I read this. Boy do I feel dumb now. XD I always felt like I was missing a joke there...
I really don't dislike this movie. It is my least favourite, but that's really a testament to how much I love the other ones, not how little I like this one. Did that make sense?
Betty is completely adorable - but Bruce really does bug me. You would have thought that he would have thought about the ramifications of activities like sex before.
