I laughed at your "smoke signal, ESP" bit of brainstorming. ;) Sometimes I wonder about the ESP bit, though... ;)

I'm going to be working on our wredit, plus my own wredit, plus possibly totally redoing Orion from scratch. (HAAA, not all of it...but getting a start.) WE WILL SEE. WHEEEEEEEE.

I've had a hard time working on anything this week. Maybe because my brain knows it's almost NaNo and it's gearing up. ;)

For years I was intimidated by NaNo, but when I dipped my toes in last year and beat the count by 4,000 words....then something Tookish woke up inside me, and I wished to go and see the mountains, the fields, distant rivers and stars and all that lay between them. Now it's something to look forward to every year, and if I at least have one thing in my life to look forward to....yeah, you know the rest.

Also my mom just signed up on the NaNo site, apparently. Whether or not any good comes of this, we'll know in a month....

I'll happily cheer you on from the sidelines, since writing original stuff never works for me and so NaNo for me would probably have to be something along the lines of "finish that freaking fanfic already". ;) Also, I'm already doing a geeky sewalong, which is pretty much my equivalent. But yay!
