I know that most of my flist has probably seen the Big Damn Movie, but if you haven't yet... GO. ASAP. It's amazing. But if you are like me in your visceral responses, you may want to read spoilers, first. I should have.

And with Wash, I definitely made the Trinity connection as well. Matrix flashbacks.

Yeah, we were damn lucky to get such a good trailer lineup.

And dude... Matrix flashback = UGH. Major. I was hurting all weekend, something fierce. I mean, it's seriously the EXACT SAME DEATH. Down to the ship losing power on its way down, you know? Except that I'm glad Wash didn't get a death speech. It was perfect the way it was, and also just so hard.

Have you seen it again, yet? I mean, I know that time on Friday was your 2nd, but it's way cool seeing both showings in close proximity.

My favorite "little detail" moment was actually noticing what was on the cup that Jayne was drinking from when he decides to go and kill River. Keep your eyes peeled. :)

And any time you want to go and see it again, let me know. I wish I hadn't biffed up the first viewing, although I could hear you laughing all the way in the front of the theatre, and it made me smile.

Dude! I went AGAIN today and still couldn't catch what was on that damn mug. What is it?! You have sharp eyes.

And yikes... you could really hear me? Wow, I suck. ;) Or maybe it was just during Kaylee's moment of amazon glory. "Hell with that - I'm gonna LIVE!" Oh man, I have to cheer. Yes, yes. ;)

But how did you biff up the first viewing...? And let me know if you want to go again sometime this week. I can make it a priority. ;)

It's the face of a tengu, which is a Japanese demon... I just thought it was a nice little omen of foreboding. I think I only noticed it because I know what they are...

I could, indeed, hear you, but that fact merely indicates your awesomeness. I giggled like a madwoman the first time I saw the scene with Kaylee, so it's all good.

I had intended on meeting you guys there for the 9:50, but my friend from work Beth and her friends didn't meet until later. We could have all been one big Firefly viewing... alas! I'm thinking I might wish to go on Saturday again (must check with Beth), although I also really want to see the Wallace and Grommit movie *geeks out*. It's the Curse of the Were-Rabbit! Either way, I'll be in touch. :)

I love your thoughts on the film! YAY! Yes, it kinda blends everything we love about Firefly plus a little salt and shakes it up and VIOLA! Man, i love the big damn movie. :)
