It's interesting to be right smack dab in the middle of a very specific and limited time of my life - a finite time that I know I'll look back on someday and be able to characterize with a great deal of precision. Has anyone else had an experience like that?

What, you mean Marsh isn't real? NOOOOO!!! :( Thanks for that recommendation, I think you told me about it a while back when I had rediscovered X-Files (that happens quite regularly, non?)

My first fandom was... well, I don't know. X-Files I guess, and SE Hinton books. No HInton fic, thank God, but there was a really good X-files one, I recall, where Scully was totally getting ready to die from her cancer and it was just hertbreaking. Don't remember what it was called. And I can't believe Marsh isn't real.

Oh YES SHE IS REAL! YAY! Does this mean Scully is real too, and that Gillian Anderson hasn't completely spat on the legacy by going blonde and losing all her body weight? Oh yay! I wonder what Marsh is doing at the moment... I think she's pulling a sickie from work to relax and do something sweet. Like watch a really bad action movie. Or maybe have sex. YAY SHE IS REAL!

...and don't deny it, First Person Shooter (just saw your icon, haha) is one of the worst episodes ever. ;)

Oh and I actually reacently read a Scully/Reyes fic that was very cheesy but still SO GOOD, because they seemed like somehwat normal people. Hottt. Need to remember the title of that. Where do you stand on Scully/Reyes?
