I'm just going to say it: Last night was the best Oscars I've seen in YEARS. And like everyone else, I've got some thoughts on it.

YAY! for Kate. I was ridiculously happy for her.

I'm glad Slumdog won, btu before I saw it, my heart belonged to Benjamin Button. Twas an awesome film. :D

Haha absolutely! We Zac Efron fans have to stick together since there's a lot of hate out there (I think it's just jealousy).

I don't know, I guess I was just putting myself in the nominees shoes, and I think it'd be pretty cool to get that kind of affirmation from my peers. Just me :)

it felt like they were trying to turn the Oscars into the Tonys.

To me, there's nothing wrong with this statement :D

1) I LOVE Heart and Souls oh-so-much. What a great movie.

2) OMG, the absence of Nicholson was one of the only things I ZOMGLURVED about the ceremony, haha. He annoys me, always sitting there in the front row with his sunglasses trying to be all suave and cool.

3) Jolie's jewelry was fabulous. But I dislike her oh-so-much, so that's as complimentary as I'll get with her. :D

Have fun in Vegas! And remember: if you get married in Vegas, you're married everywhere. Just a tip.

1) WOOT! I thought I might be the only person who remembered/liked that movie, so exciting to know that I'm not!

2) Haha yeah it is a little obnoxious, I suppose, but it was just so jarring to not have him there.

3) Heh, well it's big of you to put dislike aside for the sake of jewelry. Girls are good at that ;)

And remember: if you get married in Vegas, you're married everywhere. Just a tip.
