[LOCKED TO HAY LIN]

Hay Lin!

About that job offer, the waitress one? Um, I'm not sure if proposing to Rita that we move to Tetha right now is the best idea, so is it possible that I could still take the job despite not living in the area? I could use the lightpost function to get to work if I need to, after all ...

A job? I'm good with that, Estelle.

Like a job outside of the town? Cause I'm pretty sure there's nothing left here but the mines.

Oh, good! I'm glad. I was feeling a little useless, just staying here while you did all of the work ... I'd like to try and help make ends meet, so to speak.

Yes, outside of town. I'm still trying to work things out with a potential employer, but if all goes well, I'll be taking the lightpost to Tetha for work~!

Tetha's safe, Rita; there's nothing to worry about. Really! It's not Neon.

Sure, sounds great! Want me to come along on your interview or do you want to try it by yourself?

(ooc: strikes are the off-screen mumblings of a concerned waifu)

Um, well, I think I may have already gotten the job ... Hay Lin offered me the waitress job over at a restaurant in Tetha a while back, but I was still getting settled into this world at the time, and then the attack happened, and ... I'm just now getting back to her on it. ^^;;

She wants me to be there at 8 or 9 in the morning tomorrow. If you're not working, you can come along if you'd like~!

...

Actually, I really am a little nervous. If you can, I really would appreciate the support ... .__.; This seems so different from that Tavern in Dahngrest ...

Sure, Estelle! Getting to work via lightpost isn't a bad idea at all, and we could all use a little exercise from time to time! ^^

Btw, how are you holding up from...recent events?

(OOC: Strikes locked to Estelle.)

Of course! We must make use of the convenience of the lightpost from time to time, after all!

...

So .. um. Do I just come into work sometime, or ...? How exactly does this work?

Oh, I'm doing much better! I'm sorry to worry you, Hay Lin ..

Especially when it doesn't always have to involve life-or-death situations!

...Oh! We work in shifts when it comes to figuring out times at the restaurant-you choose between a morning, afternoon or evening shift. Me, I picked the morning and afternoon shifts 'cause that makes me feel like I'm at school. Don't tell Taranee I said that, okay? In your case, just pick the shift-or shifts, if you wanna work two-that suits you the best.

That's great! You're my friend, Estelle...I don't want anything else to happen to you! I'm sure Rita doesn't want anything else to happen to you, either.

Right!

Oh, I think I understand! I read in a book once that there are a few ways the working class can operate while doing a job; shifts was one of them. I have a little bit of experience working on the job .. I once helped in a tavern in a town called Dahngrest, back where I'm from. ^^ It was so much fun!

... I'm getting off topic, aren't I?

Anyway, I think the morning and afternoon shifts would probably work best for me as well. I'd like to be home in time for dinner with Rita and everyone. Um, if that's all right with you guys ... If that's a problem, we can work something out, right?

Aww .. thanks, Hay Lin. ^^ You're my friend, too! I'd worry if you were hurt .. I'd probably come try to heal you. ^^; And .. yeah. I don't like to worry anyone, but Rita especially ...
