Just two random one-shots. I hope this gets me out of the writers' block I am currently experiencing for this one shot I'm trying to write. The one shot is called A Counterfeit Elysium and below is a small summary for it.
Summary: AU. In which Anthony is an intern, training to become a clinical psychologist when he meets Ian, a man recognised as

Those are my two favorite lines. :') And the last line is just ajalakskaadfuwhak!!
I like them both so much. And I probably like the first one more since I feel there's a lot going on and my imagination is going wild with all the implications. And plus, Anthony screaming sorry just gets to me and makes me want to take them both and make them make up (or make out).
These were short and sweet (maybe not so sweet given the fact that neither situations were good XD). There was a lot of emotion and imagery there even with so little words and that's just amazing. I like that you didn't say everything that happened so it leaves the reader thinking and wondering and yeah ... *sigh* These were sooooooooooooo good!!!!
P.S. I like that a week seems like a long time not to have posted anything (says the one that posts like... Once in a blue moon). I remember when I used to post once a week too. How the hell did I do that?! *give me yer skillzzzz!*

It really does feel like such a long time and it has a very negative effect on me; writers' block :( (that's partially the reason why the one-shots are so short xD) I sat through pretty much all of yesterday trying to write something for this one-shot I'm working on (detailes mentioned at the top of the post - I don't think anyone bothered to read that part xD) and I only managed to write 3 pages O.o You don't really need skills; if you're bored enough or have a sudden burst of inspiration (music is the best at inspirational stuff) the words will just write themselves. (and if they don't then force yourself to write :P)
Btw, I read a bit of the first chapter of Greyscape and I was TOTALLY blown away. I mean WOW! Seriously...how do you write like that?

Oh yes, I read through that part about the one-shot you're working on after I commented (wanted to re-read the story). God, three pages is A LOT (to me). I usually try to force myself to write a sentence or two everyday. I used to read lots of books about kids in "centres" (homeless shelters, mental health centres, and one about an anorexic girl) so I got excited hearing that you're working on something like that! The hurt/comfort genre is always my favourite.
Yes! Music works wonders. Watching TV shows/movies works too. I get a lot of ideas about dialogue and atmosphere-feels from films. Like... actually... I think every story I write is inspired by some scene from a film. I had one story completely inspired by Queer as Folk (how can you not be inspired by all the gay sex? HAHHA!).

The first one made me want to hug Ian so badly! :( And poor Anthony too! I mean, he just lost his best friend too :(
I love the second one for obvious reasons and yeah.
Really good job ^^
