I'd bet money that's a Starfire Claymore... you can tell by the teardrop-shaped pomell and the slight upturn to the ends of the crossguard. and it's not brand new either, since they are currently wrapping with blue/grey suede I think... and stopped using brown a few years ago.

Yep yep yep. The first thing I thought wasn't anything about the article, it was "Hey! That's a Starfire!"

It has to be more than four years, since I don't ever recall you working there.

I can understnad if they have a "zero tolerance" for weapons....
but daaaaamn that's a cool picture! I wish I had something like that for MY high school pict! :P

I don't have a problem with them banning the pic... If he wants a garb pic, just lose the sword for it...
