Fujitaka stood in the kitchen, preparing to make croquette for Touya and Yukito, who were studying upstairs. He took ground beef and carrots from the refrigerator, panko and potatoes from the pantry.
He washed the carrots and set them out on the cutting board beside a shredder. Then he turned back to wash the potatoes. The sound of running water and his soft humming drowned out any other noises.
When he turned back around, he was greeted by a neat pile of shredded carrots and a moon guardian watching him, arms crossed over his chest, daring Fujitaka to say anything.
