The frusteration continues how do you deal with your mom when she won't speak to you after you tell her that on wednesday you plan on going to see someone that I am fond of, I really don't get it. I don't get how when my dad has a bad day he finds it neccesary to take it out on me.... Sometimes I think it's this plan they have to keep me away from

today i told my mom i was staying over night at andys next week and she said, " hmm." and looked at me like a total whore. i know how u feel. i cant wait til we go back to school either! tmrw will be fun tho!

I think our parents must be from the same gene pool. When Carl has a bad day, I'm the only one he yells at, and if I do something lame that my mom doesn't want me to do, she doesn't talk to me. And don't worry about meltdowns. We all need them. I feel like they get all the grossness out, and if I stop mid-cry, i feel even worse. So let it flow, babe. Plus, you've got me and the hottie known as Hillary to talk to. woot woot, call if you need me.

don't let it get you down. i'm so past being a little kid and my parents still think i'm retarded. so far i've heard the "i can't believe you went to the bar with your brother" speech (okay, the kid just turned 21, of course we're going to go celebrate), the "you never contribute around here" lecture (after i had just cooked dinner and did all of the dishes), and the "you're really irresponsible and directionless, no one even knows what you're doing half the time" talk (when i know exactly what's going on but i like to pretend i don't).

so you're in good company... and let me know, i can always swing by south hill and hangout. gets me out, gets you out. perfect!
