No Manilow in the studio - wasn't expecting him. I'm sure the episode will come together fine once the editors work their magic.

He talked about the twitter fest! That's great! I know I enjoyed it very much -- so glad he had fun too.

(And I hope he can ignore the negative comments being tweeted at him today. *eyeroll* )

I doubt he reads it unless he's on tweeting, don't suppose he cares either. Have to say, whatever "you" feel about the situation - what he said in the interview is totally contrary to what he said in his book and elsewhere and "get over it" is rude (and probably edited from what he actually said to be fair).

I expect he will remain more irritated by people who were being rude to him when he was actually talking to them on twitter tbh than a load of random comments about an interview he did that he probably won't ever look at.

Thanks for sharing.
I've been looking forward to the red suit since seeing it on the BTS video. Thought he looked rather nice in it. Really, enjoyed the audience hit from last week, and this one sounds just as touching.
As always can't wait to see John in his disguise.
Enrique did the same thing this past Friday on the Today Show concert for a fan. It's nice to see he's that comfortable to do something like that.
Hope Barry Manilow is in studio next week. [-.-]

Alas no Manilow in the studio but a nice VT clip. Glad you liked the report - Enrique came across very well I thought. Very generous.

Claude in Hair not Hairspray honey - I know you know that but your typing fingers clearly don't LOL!

I don't think the sing to someone in the audience is at all moving - though at least the girl this week did actually seem a little more "deserving" than the last one. Problem is it runs a very big risk of being seen as "its all about John and the agrandisment of John" which we know he is trying to avoid.

I totally knew that! D'oh!

The singing to the audience member section is a tricky was as it could come across as celebrating John rather than them. So far it isn't really the singing itself that I've found moving - more the reactions of the people being surprised.

Great report as always. I still have to see the first show - I was on holidays and need to catch up with everything JB in those past days.
I wonder though how much he had to pretend in that wheel, as he really is afraid of heights.

Thank you - I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. The wheel did look as if it was pretty high! I found the VT a bit odd in the studio so will be interested to see how it all cuts together.
