Hey :} Can we affiliate?

I run two writing communities but the home-page for both is my journal (the communities are only for members to post their entries). Is it okay if you affiliate with my user journal instead of the communities? Nevertheless, here are the links to both communities:

challenge_quill - my original writing community.
ink_challenge - my fanfiction community.

We're up and running but this is my first affiliation and advertisement so we have no members as of yet. I'm hoping we'll be flooded soon though! :D

I was curious about affiliating with a non-lj site as well.
I started a Fairy Tail community at dreamwidth.org since it didn't have one (can you believe that?)
I know some LJ-ers have DW accounts also. I would gladly link back here, this community is great.
