MY TATTOO IS SO ITCHY I CAN'T SLEEP :( :( :( :( I am sick with the illness that everybody got and i feel like i'm dying. i feel just like achey and realllly hot on top of stuff up/sore throat. its making me not want to go to class which is so shitty this early in the semester idk what to dooooo

yah me too. and it sucks because yesterday i had to give two 20 minute oral presentations with this shit making it really hard to breathe. last night i accidentally took 3 benadryl and 2 advil which amounts to like 5 advil. needless to say i slept like a baby.

omg ashlyn! yeah i get all short of breath and like the worst part right now is that i feel sapped of alllll my energy. :(

that's exactly how i feel. i went to the dr. today and i have a sinus infection. boo antibiotics but yay feeling better in like 3 days.

oh man i got one of those over the summer and it was TERRIBLE. but on the plus side it was during the olympics so i got to call out sick/watch the olympics all day :)

omg yeah i would never scratch it! i woke up this morning rubbing it though so i'm really scared i did scratch it in my sleep or something :(

I agree w/ laurenmd - pat/hit it! I use this stuff called Ink Fixx which is waxy and comes in a little container. It makes it so you don't peel or itch very much. But the downside is, it causes the ink to make your clothing a little gross, so you would probably have to tape a paper towel or something over the tattoo.

For me, always about 2 weeks. Putting (unscented!) lotion on it constantly helps too.

yeah i've been hitting the lotion pretty hard. i think i'll keep doing that.

grlll how are you healing it? I use aquaphor on mine for the first couple says and then switch to curel unscented lotion after that until the skin feels normal again. and yeah... patting it TOTALLY helps.
