What: Murdock told Al that he needed to take Cassia on a blind date. On Valentine's Day. Al, after much grumbling re: not having reservations on probably the worst day of the year to need a table, agreed and picked up the phone.
When: The evening of February 13.

"Hi. This is Al - Alejandro Diaz. Murdock gave me your number. He said he'd set up some kind of blind date? And I wanted to check and make sure he wasn't lying, first off, and if he wasn't, then maybe to make plans?"

Oh, Al. A lot of people would be nervous, or at least a little less forward. And while his tone of voice was perfectly laid-back and friendly? He certainly didn't beat around the bush.

"Hey," Al repeated his greeting, and there was a sort of rustling noise as he adjusted his grip on his cell phone. At the request to 'wait a sec,' he nodded, as if she could see him. Then he caught himself, but it was too late - she had returned.

"Well, Murdock said tomorrow? But if you wanted to hold off a day or two, that would be okay by me. I don't mind tomorrow, but it was kind of last minute, Murdock telling me, so I could only get a table for lunch. But I can do lunch if tomorrow is good, I can get a few hours off of work."
