The door to Jacob and Delilah's apartment flew open with a mighty force, and out stomped Anser, clad in a pair of flannel pajamas and a worn housecoat. He looked surprisingly calm given the situation - or rather, he didn't appear as livid as one might expect. Instead his jaw was set in a grim, fatalistic expression as he stepped right up to the CD player that was currently pumping the fifth floor with Theo's obnoxious voice. The reason he seemed so determined, one could presume, was on account of the wooden baseball bat clutched in one fist.
With a mighty swing Anser brought his bat down on the electronic device, and then again, and again, each heavy THWACK causing the audio to screech and falter, until it cut out entirely and the player was left in pieces on the hallway floor. Anser, red-faced but looking oddly satisfied, exhaled and lowered the bat, glaring at the shattered irritant.
"This sort of thing would never have happened before--" He began sharply, only now turning to look at Patricia where she was ( ... )
