Midnight, and Neil knew he had to get going or else he was going to turn into a pumpkin. Or something like that. At the very least he was going to feel like crap the next morning, getting up early to go to the airport. But he couldn't help himself - it was a PARTY! And a Byrons' Party at that. He'd actually started saying goodbye about an hour and a half ago, but was distracted from leaving at every turn. At least Neil had enough willpower not to partake in too much alcohol. Instead, he occupied himself with the French cigarettes his hosts had set out like candy in dishes all around the room. That, and purposely stalking Patricia and Marie to get one of them to dance with him. Obviously, he was a glutton for punishment.

When Watts had said that he wasn't going in a kilt, Neil decided that wearing his would be predictable. Instead, he opted for the ridiculous: wearing a horribly fake mustache, a montera (bullfighter's hat) and carrying a red cape, he spent the first part of the evening speaking English with a horrible
