Yeah, surprisingly enough, Sam had crawled himself out of his funk for a few minutes to leave his apartment and head down to the bar Neil had mentioned. Pool, talking about Elisa and drinking should be enough to take care of his woes for the time being.

He walked in, dressed too much like the mysterious stranger who just came to town with dark clothing and a black leather jacket on and spotted Neil over at the pool table. "Hey," he said and stuck his hand out to greet him and shake his.

Neil recognized Sam's face from when he'd seen Elisa sitting at a table and arguing with him at the party after Kilroy and May's wedding. Not a bad looking man, Neil thought, giving him the once over. Johnny Cash. Firmly taking the Man in Black's hand, Neil shook it and smiled. "Hey, how're you doing? I promised to buy you a drink, so what would it be?"

Easing their way to the bar, Neil held the cue stick with it casually resting up on his shoulder. "You just came into town, didn't you? Excuse me for asking, but what's your Tale? Elisa never mentioned it to me. At least I can't remember her ever doing so?"

He noticed Neil checking him out, but he paid it no mind; Sam didn't care and Neil was not the first to do that. "Better than I was. Nice to meet you face to face. Sorry I wasn't more...talkative at the wedding," he said as he shook back firmly. "A beer's fine."

He followed next to Neil over to the bar, one hand in his pocket the other dangling to the side. "Yeah. About two weeks ago. Snow White and Rose Red. I'm the Bear Prince, hence Rose's unnatural hatred towards me." The corner of his lip upturned into a smirk.

Neil had to slyly smirk himself. "I met up with Rose Monday night. She's pretty... intense." The circumstances under which they met was something Neil didn't want to freely divulge. He ordered a bottle a Guinness for Sam and turned to face him, back leaning against the bar.

"Bear Prince..." he said, thoughtfully. Tale-wise, he considered this a better match for the Queen than would a Wonderland caterpillar. "Don't worry about the wedding. Things were...well..."

This was becoming awkward, and here Neil was hoping that it wouldn't be, considering he'd been thinking about what he wanted to say to Sam for hours.

"What did you want to talk about?"

Might as well cut to the chase.
