 So its that time again, the kids are asking about getting a pet!  I shake my head because I loved pets at one point... but I'm so jaded now with the 2 crazy dogs and the dog attack...

But they ask anyways -- So Caed at first was like "Mom, I can train the dog.  I'll be good with it" I'm still shaking my head... so then he moved onto a cat.  Well

You should get a baby reindeer! I'm gonna have to vote with the kids on this one. Maybe it would be on of Rudolph's babies and have a shiny red nose. Even if it doesn't you should love it just the same. I want to see pictures when you get it! Can I come a play with it? Hee hee. I'm so excited! Wait. You're not getting one? Party pooper! Grown ups! Always ruining all the fun.

Me, I'd take a cat over a reindeer any day...much less to clean up after. Too bad the kids aren't like Annelise who has a whole herd of make-believe animals that talk to her and play with her. Yes, she's happy that way :)

make-believe -- interesting -- well we do have fluffy the bear that is one of Caed's giant stuffed animals and he does tend to cause some mischief... like Fluffy likes to drive Andy's car and take Tigger for a ride =) Its amazing the things this bear can do!!

Ya, if only Andy would go for a cat...

or a plastic fish- those don't require any work. No matter what- avoid rodents and reptiles. Those are way too much work and they don't love you back. I know this from experience.

And they are creepy!

Plastic fish! Great idea! They have those little magnetic fish that "swim" and everything. No feeding or cleaning. AMAZING!!! Whoever invented those is a genius!
