The boi and I saw Julie & Julia tonight, and I have to say I'm inspired. I've never much cared for Julia Child's style, at least what I'd seen of it thus far. I can't say that I'm in any hurry to watch all the TV material and make every one of her recipes either. The movie wasn't about Julia Child's style though. Hey girlfriend... you know I'm going through all of this at the age of almost 45, right? Well, hon... I urge you to go for the gusto, go for the gold NOW, 'cause I'm absolutely miserable where I am now. I'm glad that I was here for them but I am having a major uphill battle getting back in the business world and things feel entirely too complicated.

I've had some business ideas over the last decade or so, was never able to do anything with them thanks to John's mantra (see my LJ if you don't know what it is). As a result, I have an underlying resentment of him too.

Hooray for Adric, supporting you in this, and encouraging it!
