Title: Small Victories
Characters: Tim Drake, Conner Kent
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.
Word Count: 1, 500-ish
Author's Notes: I set out to make this shippy, and it just didn't really happen. So you can just have Kon and Tim being BFF. This is pre-IC, set sometime during the early Teen Titans run.

( He briefly misses a time when Kon didn’t make him feel so tiny, before he reminds himself that Kon’s powers developing made him stronger, made him safer and he suddenly doesn’t mind so much )

Awww this is so sweet. I like the idea of Tim thinking of each time he gets Kon to smile a victory, so often it's Kon trying to get Tim to smile.

Thanks! I like showing that their friendship works both ways, so even though Tim is the one that needs cheering up the most, he can still need to make Kon smile every now and then.

These two make great BFFs. Tim so intune with his boy that he knows that something is off. Kon so trusting of his friend that he listens to his advise taking it to heart.

Aw... Poor Kon. Such an awful dilemma! I honestly wasn't expecting Kon's trouble to be what it was, so the description of what he heard was a painful little shock. D: I cringed. But he *would* hear awful stuff like that all the time. Poor woobie baby.

Tim's great in this. I love the moment where he's holding Kon's hand and waiting. And I love that he's taking care of Kon. Such a good friend.

That was actually one of the... nicer things that I could've made him hear. I ended up toning it down from the original idea because I didn't want to be too horrible. And yes, he is a poor woobie baby.

Tim is great in everything. But yeah, I love him taking care of Kon too. Thank you <3

I love stories that actually think about things like Superpowers and explore them to their logical conclusions. And I love Tim's responses here. They feel...very right. Not just authentic, but right. Really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Thinking about the logistics of superpowers is really fun and something that I could spend my whole life doing.

This comment made me so happy, I am pleased that Tim was authentic and right. Sometimes I feel like my Tim voice is fading a little, with such other, loud muses in my head, so it's good to know he's still there. Thank you ^_^
