I've been doing most of my blogging on tumblr lately, mostly because it's limited to personal stuff and pretty pictures where I use LJ for fanfic (which I unfortunately haven't had the desire for lately) BUT

It's mostly for photo blogging, but I use it for personal stuff. It's actually not even fandom wank, it's bullshit drama because I asked a friend to stop using the word "faggot" because it offends me, and he got all up in my case and it turned into a huge fight. Oh the internet, it makes normal people such jerks sometimes. Fandom wank is easier to take :|

Ugh, that sounds really obnoxious. I just...am really burned out on LJ arguments lately. You've missed a lot of it lately. I usually agree with the reason people are angry, but I just can't get involved with the overly angry, heated way these things tend to unfold. Too much stress for my delicate constitution. :p

It was awful. On the plus side Gail Simone weighed in on the argument and agreed with me; and I had a little fangirly moment. I am glad I've missed all that drama, I don't see the point in getting really angry over something in fandom because in the end, it's just fandom. As much as I love it, I'm not going to make myself upset and angry just because of something to do with it.

I really like how supportive and kind this little corner of fandom is. I don't deal well with WANK and RAGE most of the time, and I appreciate that it's kept to a minimum over here. ^^

You don't have to feel pressured to write a thing; we love to have you around just because you're you, and you're so sweet and fun. ^_^

We are such a nice little group, I rarely see any sort of wank over here and it's such a relief because the rest of the internet can be a little scary. This is my happy place.
