I really enjoyed CA2 but on the other hand I'm awfully sad that it's Jossed the WS fics that bank on the sort of dark ironic humor that is present in some Soviet-era literature (e.g. Moscow-Petushki).

My sense of humor is prob wayyy off from the mainstream, but this makes me laugh more than deliberate fluffy humor or crack stuff. It's just--the little things. The traffic problems! Exsanguination by mosquitoes of sanguine prisoners! Unintentionally cool coffee! Plus some nice effective lines on the WS's role. Obvs this is OOC & wrong backstory for CA2's WS, but I still love it.

AO3 users can randomly add works to collections, can't they? Has someone chosen this fic to add to a collection of theirs, and set it to unrevealed? (I hope you can't do that. Man that would suck.)

Authors of a work can add it to a collection. Owners of a collection cannot add other people's works to a collection, though they can remove them. My guess here is that someone made their own private collection to archive works they do not actually want anyone else to be able to read.

I AM DISMAYED. I looked at the collection info but have no idea why the author did so. The other work in the collection kind of fits into the same 'verse (I can figure out what it is since I've read it before), so I hope it's just for some unspecified reason before the author makes it publicly readable again.
