Springtime is icumen in, lhude sing nonny - FFA Post # 316

Apr 08, 2014 00:07

It is that time of year when OOA meets Cult of Nice Nonny, when mansplaining-loving nonny meets mansplaining-hating nonny, when NFHA may have moments of being tempted by NF provided he's well wrapped in a paper bag, when alpacas smoke, and when sap is flowing, buds are growing, and nests are being built all over the meme. Sing nonny, nu!

Canucks fire Mike Gillis. Thoughts?

Until last week, I thought Torts would be more likely to go. Oh well.

They might fire Torts too though, right? I thought I heard that was still a possibility. Either way, I hope they get a juicy first round pick next year and get better.

Oh, Torts is still going. Actually, I'm a Canes fan and Muller is being let go at the end of the season, and for some reason there is a contingent of Cane fans who are hoping we snatch up Torts when it happens. I'm hoping we don't, but uh, at this point I'm conditioned to disappointment, so...

The more detailed, creative, and/or vicious the better. Please?

Here's a vicious one from the Snape/Harry fandom. Mind you, the brainwashing is something that happened in the past, but it's very much a part of the story.

Here are a few more Snape/Harry fics in which Snape is various shades of untrustworthy or horrible ( ... )

Thor, Are You There? It's Me, Nonnie anonymous April 9 2014, 03:35:29 UTC
Come visit with me, O Thunder?

How are you feeling since that enchanted drink wore off? Do you still want us to accept your brother?

I greet you, fair anon, though my heart is heavy and my head is filled with painful hammering from within.

I have some memories of a few evenings past, drinking some most pleasant types of cocktails, somewhat like yet unlike the finest mead and shifting attractively in color, and feeling... perhaps maudlin? Or happy? Or excessively affectionate? I am unsure, having but just woken, and prefer not to inquire too closely.

On the topic of Loki, press me not, for it is a sore one. I ever miss him by my side as an ally and brother, and sorely grieve his loss on Svartalfheim, yet I know that his valiant fight against the fell workings and power of the dark elves ought not, in my heart, undo all of the mischief and pain he had before caused on Asgard, Midgard, and in other realms. When I am less heartsore and headsore I will ponder this more. But first I will have some of this "Gatorade and Alka Seltzer" beverage which friend Barton assures me will help with what ails me.

Valorous One, your words bring much joy to this nonnie's heart. Clint knows what he's talking about, drink it and rest some more <3

Yessss, my rats are the most annoying precious pets ever! Currently they've started chewing the table their cage sits on.

My former roommate had some cute rats, but man were they ornery. They managed to reach out of their cage and partially unravel a ball of yarn in my knitting pile, drag over and chew up the strap on one of my purses, and eat holes in the blanket we draped over part of their cage to keep them warm when we had to air out the apartment in winter.
