Snow Patrol

Oh my goodness, saw Snow Patrol live last night! Was absolutely fabulous and nearly died. It was amazing! Completely mindblowing! They played Run and Chasing Cars and I nearly cried! Eeee!

In other news, saw "I do", a French film tonight and enjoyed a lot. Am totally not looking forward to getting back to that History essay tomorrow, can't wait

Yeah, I see a lot of bands for work, lol.

I'd been following them since Songs For Polarbears (I work in taste-making and promotions), and when I heard the early demos for Final Straw I knew it was their big break and they'd be massive. Dragged Mr Bracknell to see them about six months before the album came out, and when they did Run, I leaned over and said I thought it'd be a top 5 hit, and he rolled his eyes and said 'Don't be daft. You're the only person who likes Snow Patrol....'. I do so like being right, lol.

Have DJed with Gary and Tom a couple of times, too. They're really nice guys.

Heh tried to reply to your comment earlier with my email thing but obviously it didn't work! That is so totally awesome, your prediction was spot on - was personally surrounded by thousands of fans screaming out lyrics to "run" so yeah! Thats cool to hear they're genuinely nice ppl, they seemed pretty down to earth on stage, hilarious too! Oo I loved your update to The Werewolf who stole Christmas btw, it'd be great to see another update soon *hinthint* :)
