Let it be known that bookelfe and Pamela Dean were both absolutely correct in their recommendation of Christopher Fry's play The Lady's Not For Burning. I read it today in study breaks and was unutterably charmed by the whole thing.

I am trying not to say "I TOLD YOU SO" with an air of impossible smugness and instead will sit in the corner with Rym and long wistfully for the time when I can reread it. (It was very difficult not to just reread the whole thing at work while I was finding an initial quote for you, I will tell you.) THOMAS <33333 and JENNET <33333 and oh my god, Margaret would indeed be the best role to play on stage ever. I am also very fond of Nicholas' speechifying, especially when he gets hit by a brick.
