- Awwww. I am very defensive of my city, so this warmed my heart. I am hoping to go to Sydney or Brisbane for medicine, but not out of any particular dislike for Canberra - it's just time for a change.

- This article in today's paper is great - one of those things that just makes you glad that there are people around who share your political views

Awww! That article on Canberra made me all warm and fuzzy too!

Must show it to everyone here who wrinkles their nose at me when I tell them that I lived most of my life in Canberra and actually like it there. Snobby Melbournites (although to be fair, the culture difference between Canberra and Melbourne is MUCH greater than between, say, Canberra and Sydney - there's not nearly as much "alternative" culture in Canberra, for starters...).
