Symposium is an easy read. And actually, the Aristophanes part is a lot funnier in the original Greek. In fact, it's probably only funny in the original Greek.

What are your thoughts on Obama's pick for VP?

Somewhat boring a choice, but that could be good for him. Biden is a "safe" running-mate, and I guess is supposed to make up for his lack of experience with military matters. Honestly, I don't know that much about the man, so couldn't tell you what I think of him. :/
