I am rather happy today for the simple fact that a) it is a Sunday b) I am not at work and b) I have spent all day doing nothing of any use. So, my plans for the summer have been well and truly fucked courtesy of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Record Office. Back in January, I sorted out a work experience placement there for the week of the 24th August and my summer has been based entirely around that. I hate my new haircut. It's supposed to be well trendy and rock chickish but I think I look like I've just escaped from Van Halen. My fabulous friend Victoria last night went to see this concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Afterwards, the composer of the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack did a signing and she got me a signed CD! =D

I have a swish signed copy of The Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack signed by Howard Shore! I'm so excited.

I had one of my worst ever dreams last night. Not because it was scary or frightening. But I dreamed about Gram. The problem with lecturers at University is that really, teaching is something they have to do rather than always want to do. They can't be on permanent study leave which means that sadly, from time to time they have to teach those little Undergraduates who so lovingly pay them lots of money to fly all over the world.
