Even an angel is killing now.

Prior to having the rules of this city imposed upon me, I, personally, found the act to be somewhat barbaric, but it provides a basis by which all may fear retribution.

What rules?

It seems like a shitty way to teach people morals.

The purpose of such a punishment is not to teach people morals, but to prevent them from breaking the rules again. After all, if one is no longer alive, one cannot break rules.

Rules such as breaking contract, theft, killing another.

Yeah. If they're dead they sure can't do anything anymore. But don't people keep living in this city?

Killing killers is still killing. I know it's necessary sometimes, when killing a killer is the only way to stop them, but... it's still hypocritical to teach people not to kill by killing.

((ooc: Yay for alliteration abuse?))

Sometimes people do it to stop others from killing.

I guess so. But it's so hypocritical. Killing with more killing.

Not really. Because it's not just about the action, it's about the motives too. It's never good to kill, no matter what the motive, sometimes it's just the lesser of two evils.

I guess it is the lesser than two evils.

I mean, I understand if it's necessary so a killer doesn't kill more. I just don't like the holier-than-thou attitude.

See, that's the part I'm not getting. How can it possibly be considered fun?

The thrill, adrenalin rush, and ego boost. It's not for everyone though, obviously.
