How to Survive a Horror Movie: All the Skills to Dodge the Kills by
Seth Grahame-Smith My rating:
5 of 5 stars This was another book that was in my Uncle's collection. I had wanted to read it for a looooong time and it was well worth the wait.
A cross between humor, meta and a legitimate how-to guide that takes itself in a DEADLY serious manner.
A must-read for fans of humor!horror like Scream, Shaun of the Dead, the Evil Dead trilogy, etc. It also helps if you're a general horror fan or at least know the gist of the more popular movies to get all the references.
Be sure to read the 'apology' from Wes Craven and the Introduction, because if you are like me and tend to skip over that sort of thing you will miss out.
Heartily recommended with two bloody thumbs up.
