Oh, you should know this was a Kindle read. haha.
Yep. That's right. That says 'aliens' there in the shelves.
From a little rundown in my LJ: "It did remind me of the BDB books in some ways. The whole vampires coming from an alien race thing did make me lol. Also, the whole "let's go see what the bad guy is doing and let's sit around and listen to him go on and on about his evil master plan and how evil he is" thing can just GTFO. I skipped over it in the BDB books and did the same here. Hey writers? We aren't reading your books to skip over to the antagonist's POV. We aren't. Unless they are like...gray area characters...I don't give a crap how they feel about things. The reveals would have been much more shocking without the long lead up where we already knew that they were bad. (Just FYI.)"
All that said, I'll keep reading due to curiosity about the characters and poor impulse control when it comes to finishing series.
