Wow, lets see..

As of late, I've been trying my best to be nice to the young ladies who are shacking up with us. They get on my nerves alot. And I thought I was alone in this, making me feel like maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the one with the problem, maybe it's not them at all. Maybe I've just been too used to just Scottie and I living here. ( Read more... )

Menstrual blood all over the place.

Ew.

But seriously, kids can be annoying and messy, but it all depends on how they're raised. After all, I don't remember leaving menstrual blood anywhere. In fact, I tried to hide the fact that I had periods. And all that other stuff? At their age, and not being their parents, you can't change their behavior. But although toddlers and young kids will be messy, if you catch them when they're really young they're more likely to be respectable people when they grow up. I know I left my dishes out all the time and my dad had to bug me to put them in the sink, and that I was pretty distant, but I was never downright gross or disrespectful.

Me too!! It's..well, it's the way I was brought up. I mean, sure - we all have our little slips. But with her it's several times every month. She shows no embarrassment which infuriates me. And she never makes a move to clean it herself, either. I've tried to educate her, I've tried to make her know how disgusting it is to everyone else in the house.. but there's never a response just a shrug. I give up. There's just no way to safeguard my house from her blood.

I can understand normal teenage messiness. We were all like that, but they've taken it to a whole new level. It's obvious they've never had to lift a finger in their lives.
