YAY BANUI. I miss you. And it sounds like your trip is turning into something a lot like my D.C. trip--some unpleasant parts, but already enough experiences for a lifetime, somehow packed into a few days. I've been struggling with expressing it too; it's on my mind constantly.
Anyway. Yay pictures. Yay for...being around, if not actually back. (If you have time to look, the bathroom plotbunny is up on thedreamweavers.)
I want to see pictures of your sunglasses! I need a pair myself, but it's so hard for me to find any that look good on me.
I'm sorry about your CD player. I know how it is to go without music. My iPod died a coupld of months ago, but Apple sent me a new one free since I'd only had it nine months, but I went without music for about a month.
And do let me know when you're going to be in Mississippi and where. I only live about two hours from the border, and would love to take a day trip to see you if it isn't too far, and if Ruth Ann wouldn't mind too much, seeing as how I don't know her that well...
Errgh, when my computer died, I had virtually no music, and it was tragic.
Anyway, I'm very glad to hear that your vacation is going relatively well, in spite of some rough spots. I must admit that I'm rather shocked at you only just now getting a pair of sunglasses; I think I've been wearing them since infancy. *giggles* It is hard to find a nice pair though, and I have a great tendency to lose them (but I did find a very nice pair last summer, paid over twice as much as I normally would for them, and have yet to lose them, thank heavens).
Also: I hope you have a marvellous time on that carousel; they are quite wonderful.
