the cold north wind will blow again

Today's a dark and rainy day; through the windows it already looks like dusk although it isn't four yet. Normally I would be Extremely Bothered about this, but today's too cosy for me to grudge it a little dimness. Anyway my fairy lights are so lovely and bright and my lamp glows redly through the brocade lampshade and I love the sound of rain and ( Read more... )

You are wonderful, do you know that? I could honestly read your words forever.

I'm glad that you had a good mental health day. Keep your spirits up. ♥

I love the way you write. I feel like you could write about the history of shoelaces and I would still be captivated. This means that I absolutely must read your novel once you've finished it, and are a published author someday. Just letting you know now.

Okay so basically this entry made me giggle a lot and then I missed you and then I remembered I will be home in a fortnight hurrah! Except that, because I am apparently a masochist, I am currently drowning myself in lonely nostalgia (immediately after proclaiming my misanthropic introversion on Facebook) by listening to Christmas Music of the Sort which I've Never Known Life Without and which Will Always Cause Me to Long for Something I'm Not Sure What.

And apparently I've lost the ability to use proper commas or capitalization. I don't know, I'm tired and I'm battling my brain's attempts to turn me into a broodpire. Ahem.

In other news, I love you and can't wait to come home again! :D

We shall have to make Grand Plans! What are good Christmas films? Or generally lovely snowy magical films? We should watch one! Also we can bake cookies! And make snow goons! And play Christmas carols at the coffeeshop! ONLY A FORTNIGHT. :D

Christmas music often does that to me, too.

YOU ARE A BROODPIRE AHAHAHAHA.

COME BACK.

OH OH WE SHOULD TOTALLY WATCH THE THOMAS KINKADE MOVIE WITH JARED PADALECKI. And yes lots of cookies. We should do a cookie exchange like we did a few years ago. I wonder if I can manage to throw the little people out of the house and perhaps get Elizabeth and Emma over... And yay carols too! Which ones should we do?

NO I'M NOT A BROODPIRE AAAAAH.

I'M COMING. Maybe even a day or so early... ::crosses fingers::

Also, it's good to know I'm not the only person Christmas has that effect on. I was going to blame it on nostalgia, but it's always done this, since I was little. :P
