My oh my, the hour is fast approaching! Today has mostly been a whirlwind of packing and cleaning and music organising, with breaks in between to re-dye the fading purple streaks in my hair (and add some pink highlights), fetch nibbles for the road, read Howl's Moving Castle, and snuggle the cats I won't see for two weeks. (Two weeks with no cats? ( Read more... )

books, geekery, the needle and vinyl play, banui on holiday, ebay for the win, the astonishing adventures of me, relatives

Yay for awesome book bag.

Say, you don't happen to be the fellow who nicked all the Diana Wynne Jones from the children's library, do you? I went there today and only found tiny paperbacks .....

I hope all the best kinds of fun for your vacation! ♥

"We Dream an Ocean in Ohio" is a beautiful piece. I need to get copies of all of Linford's CDs since I've been using Grooveshark.com to listen to his work.

Books books! I think I need to go to the library here and find something to read. The Silmarillion is just so very thick and a bit difficult to get into, you know. Although I did just read Alas, Babylon which is a lovely book indeed.

Ah, Linford Detweiler. From what I have heard, his piano music is just so lovely.

Any chance I could persuade you to share those Linford Detweiler albums? I can't get enough of I Don't Think There's No Need To Bring Nothin' ;)

Have a fantastic vacation!

Yep, definitely planning to upload those soon! I haven't actually listened to them yet, though. :D And I know, I Don't Think... is one of my favourite albums ever.

(I was prepared to sit on my bookbag rather than go on holiday without them.)

*stifles giggles*

N'awww, sleepy kitty. My cat always curls up under my covers, and I'll see a little paw sticking out, or I won't realize he's there and set my purse on him, and he makes a disgruntled little sleepy noise. Oh, cats.
