Kyra went home yesterday. We drove her to the bus station (which is a dingy little building on the outskirts of town), after the two of us had spent the last several hours sitting out on a blanket spread over the roof, watching The Sarah Jane Adventures. Your first paragraph there makes me inexplicably happy. I think that we're all looking for that kind of familiarity...I'm glad that you've found it. The internet can be a wonderful thing :)

The internet is indeed a wonderful thing. I don't know if we could have attained the same familiarity without it, at least not in this very emotionally tangled season in my life. We already knew each other so well that most of the things that keep us from communicating well with other people no longer existed between us. :)

I don't properly know what to say, this post makes me so happy. ♥ (Looking forward to pictures! Pictures can sometimes encapsulate what words have difficulty doing. (Though, I don't believe that entire "a picture is worth a thousand words" thing.))

A picture is not always worth a thousand words -- although some pictures are worth at least three hundred. Try to accurately convey the sheer magnificence of David Tennant's hair with merely words. I dare you! ;D

That is truly wonderful. It is so much different interacting with people in real life even if they are known quite well, but even better when it "clicks" just like you hoped it would. I am very happy for you.

Plus, Kyra's just awesome.
